Echo Hill Sport Horses LLC is a private Dressage Sport Horse Training and Breeding Facility located in beautiful Northern Virginia.  We have an extensive network both here in the US and in Germany which enables us to find the very best Dressage prospects for future International sport and breeding. Our own breeding program is focused on producing the highest quality German Oldenburg sport horses for Dressage.

Owner, Melissa Palmer is a Grand Prix rider and USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist. Horses have been a life long passion for Melissa from her first pony at age 7.  Her focus was Pony Club and Eventing before transitioning to Dressage full time.  Melissa is a United States Pony Club graduate B and attributes her strong belief in exceptional horse care and horsemanship to her early education in the USPC.

Melissa has worked with many top International Dressage Trainers to include Morten Thomsen, Debbie McDonald, Conrad Schumacher, Lars Petersen and George Theodorescu.  Melissa recently spent a year living full time in Billerbeck Germany immersed in dressage training with Olympic, World and European Champion Helen Langehanenberg.  This was an unparalleled opportunity to train with one of the very best dressage riders in the world and travel to International level competitions throughout Germany and Europe to include the European Championships in Gothenburg Sweden, the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo Holland and the Bundeschampionate at the DOKR in Warendorf Germany.   Helen competed Melissa’s own Reagan 10 in the FEI 5 year old championships in Warendorf.
